Ti Leaf Linen Napkin Set - Aqua
Ti Leaf Linen Napkin Set - Aqua
Growing up, our dinner table was always set with cloth napkins. Where some families save them for special occasions or holidays, we used cloth napkins at every meal.
Not only does this old-fashioned tradition keep me connected to my mom's country kitchen and to my Midwestern roots, it's also a simple way to cut down on single use paper waste.
I hope these napkins become a part of your family tradition too, and accompany you at meal time for years to come.

I had fun drawing these Ti Leaf plants and even got to capture one in bloom and going to seed, which I had never really taken note of before. Early Polynesians believed this common island plant to have divine powers and to ward off evil. Today we see it used in landscapes, lei and often to wrap offerings in sacred spaces.
A hand printed design on a medium weight linen cotton blend. This fabric has a little more structure, breaks in nicely and is sure to stand the test of time.
